Factor meals are designed to include at least 150 grams of vegetables, along with a mix of carbohydrates, protein, and fats for a balanced approach to nutrition. Our Keto meals are adjusted to the keto diet and contain a maximum of 15 grams of carbohydrates and are supplemented with more fats per meal. Each meal also provides a variety of vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables:
Consuming at least 150g of vegetables daily can provide essential vitamins and minerals, supporting a well-balanced diet. Including a variety of vegetables ensures a broad range of nutrients, contributing to overall versatile diet. (1,2)
Carbohydrates:
Carbohydrates are found in fruits, grains, potatoes, pulses and vegetables and can be classified as simple or complex. Simple carbs are quickly processed by the body, while complex carbs take longer to digest and absorb, providing sustained energy. (3)
Proteins:
Proteins are essential for body functions such as enzyme activity, organ function, and hormone production. When consumed, proteins break down into amino acids, nine of which must come from food, while the body synthesizes the remaining eleven. (4,5)
Fat:
Your body needs dietary fat for optimal function. In addition to enhancing the flavor and texture of food, fat provides a significant source of energy. Dietary fats are involved in many vital processes and play an important roll in the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E). (6)
